Flashbacks: A year with Weblio

One year was fast, lalo na sa dami ko ginawa last year eh di ko namalayan. Pero maganda naman.. Di ko din akalain di ba na papasa ako in that interview and screening plus wala naman ako alam sa pagtuturo. hahaha

Well, I was laughing about it now. A year after.. Honestly, marami pa ko matutunan. I admit that I’m not really technically a good teacher. But what I can say, I can be one. Masarap sa pakiramadam na nagpapasalamat sila that they were taught or kahit minsan wala naman lesson, free talk kung baga eh sobra pa din sila natutuwa kasi they can use english dito. Mahirap kasi sa Japan, I don’t know where and how often you can use english most of the time. I admit that sometimes I felt pity that due to some conditions they have, it’s hard for them to learn english well.

I’ll write about it at the next posts, other topic.

I can’t say their names. I’ll write that in the other post. Not the names. hahaha

Other than that, all is easy in Weblio. Bayad for the whole time block. hahaha I like it. My working environment background. Ang hirap, grabe, mas maayos pa ata sa isabela yun background ko kaso nagbrown out naman. hahaha Pero ngayon, wala na dapat sila reklamo, maayos na plus, yes, it’s permanent. =)

Yahoo!! I just hate BDO atm, please I’ve enough of that freaking bank. hahaha Saka as usual, mas maaga ang payslip.

The best part still? Of course, work at home! No need to file VL and wait for a miracle to be approved. Never. hahaha I can rest when I want and even, ehem go out when I want.

And now, I know why they can’t be fluent english speakers like us. One reason, sample, eh mahirap magtranslate from Japanese to English. There are a lot of parts of their language that really don’t have any translation in English. One great example, prepositions. I hate it. Good thing in Nihonggo, wala yun. hahaha Pero pag english, no choice, kailangan aralin. =(

I can say, this work, second to RAM. The only advantage siguro ng RAM, eh mas madali yun work. I mean, di naman ako nagsasalita dun eh saka mas malaki yun kita dun. hehe Pero yun lang. Third best work sa SE. Medyo mahirap kasi MOH dun. Ah di ko to consider as call center work kasi nagtuturo ako ng English, not some tech stuff or solving customer’s problems. That’s a big difference right?

Pero kahit may pagbabago sa career ko or whatever happens, I want to keep this work kahit part time in the future. It’s really fun talking to Japanese students, especially those who looks, good. hahaha Plus I learn as well. Saka masarap sa paki ramdam yun being grateful nila.

He passed and panay thank you sa kin. Sarap sa pakiramdam. It’s like a friend right? hehe Di lang siya, may iba pang students na ganun.

Honestly, I’m planning before to move to another online japanese company but that was like first months ko dito. Pero that changed, I feel happy and content. I just need to think more ways to earn but it’s not there problem naman. hehe It’s mine..

So there, I’ll stay here and good thing I failed at those other online teaching sites.. hahaha

  1. Thank you so much for this. This motivated me to continue my application to Weblio, seems like it is a decent company based on you post. I’ll have the interview this Thursday and I hope I’ll pass *crossfringers* and hopefully, to start working soon.
