Flashbacks: LG activity in Baguio!

This activity was planned like a month earlier. Pati naman ako nagulat kasi di na ko masyado sa LG due to distance from my other work.

So mabuti naman, thanks to Bro. Marlon eh natuloy naman etong LG activity outside again from Manila.

Talagang dinadayo!

It’s my first time there and I can say, I want to go back once in a while. Parang may something there nga. Except kay Bishop Villegas, eh parang may something kay Our Lady of Manaog. Kahit mahaba pila dun sa altar niya, I said some wishes and I hope it’ll come true.

After the Manaog experience, eh nakakain naman kami ng agahan.

Then, after some hour of waiting and resting, tuloy na kami daw agad sa pasyal. Grabe… Parang ayaw ko na kumain.. hahaha

Tapos, punta kami parang Garden ata, yun botanical garden, libre at maliit, maputik. hahaha Paano pumunta ako sa Phil-Japanese monument kaso anak ng tinapa, wala naman laman, maputik pa! Erghh.. Bwisit. hehe

After that, parang pumunta na kami sa Mine’s View park. I just hate that place, ang sikip tapos agawan sa pwesto para magpapicture!

The next restaurant we ate, was magnificent!

I missed this soup way back sa US noong bata pa ko! hahaha I tried to look which resto offer the chowder served in a bread bowl, wala ako nakita sa Manila. Dito lang. Worth the travel perhaps! Appetizer pa lang yun. hehehe OMG, the main dishes they served were fantastic! From pasta, fried foods and yes, bagnet..

Libreng parang special cake saka yun binili namin cake from them? Sila pa naghiwa at may presentation pa. No other resto do that!

Wow!!! That’s why not surprising the resto of the year awards they got from Philippine Tattler. I was just overhelmed. It’s a good place in any type of occassions like meetings, birthdays or even ehem, romantic night dates! =) Panalo to!

Of I forgot, siyempre kaya pala kami naligaw, pumunta pa kami ng Pink Sisters to get their famous peanut brittle and ube jam. I suggest stay away from the Peanut Butter. =(

After that very sumptous meal that was very unforgettable.. We went siyempre to SM Baguio just to buy for our breakfast meals and stroll around. Stay away from that place at night kasi sobrang daming tao at ang hirap umuwi! Mabuti na lang may service kami. hehe

At that time, I really want to lie down and rest but it’s not a bad thing, mabuti kasama ko sila, mga brothers! Nakakatawa may isa ako brod na first time makapunta ng Baguio, sayang he did not see the old Baguio.. =( Kaya eto, parang field trip sa kanya. hahahaha

Di na namin kaya mag LG activity nun nakauwi na kami so we moved forward to Sunday!

Sunday was a special day, despite we missed the feast eh we did the alternative one. Morning Worship and Prayer. Sobrang solemn ng event na yun kasi we sang worship songs, and then talked a bit to each other at siyempre prayers. Mapa personal intentions yan or petitions, eh nashare namin.

After that, siyempre nakahabol pa kami sa Mass at eto yun nagustuhan ko, yun Baguio cathedral ba yun? I don’t know the name but nung bata ako, eto lang lagi natatandaan ko lugar except yun Mcdo sa session road.. Di ko akalain na maintain pa din yun atmosphere niya, except lang sa jampacked crowd. hehe Pero nung nakapunta ako, parang nanumbalik yun fond memories ko nung Baguio when I was a kid. I just love that place kaya yun lang ang lugar na todo ako sa picture. hahaha
I love that place. After that place, pumunta pa kami ng PMA! Humabol pa. hahaha Wala naman special dun except for that old tanks and mortars. Tapos, kumain kami sa Giligan’s! Parang mas sulit Giligan’s sa province kaysa sa Manila. hehe Then, we went off na to Manila, pero stop over dun sa Kennon Road with the Lion’s Head. Daming pumupunta dun.

Wait, there was one more! hahahaha Pumunta pa kami sa Sta. Maria Bulacan for our dinner! Wow! Oh God, I just want to rest. hehe Despite that clumsy service that the resto has, sorry I forgot the name… Pero masarap ha. At sulit!

This LG activity was a great thing for us. Some of us want to rest or be away from the hectic workload. Some of us wants to be in a place na kakaiba. Most of us wants to eat a lot. hehe Pero it was a journey na simple, but hollistic fun. Kahit may mga kanyang kanya kami iniisip o iniinda, the places we went like yun Manaog and yun Church, I felt God’s presence there. Plus the food he gave, the great driver we had and fantastic place we stayed in which we hope we could have stayed longer. hahahaha Lastly, we have each other.

Mabuti na lang sumama ako kasi kailangan ko din ng escape from all the tasks I have and the events passed by. I need a breather. I got it and it was good one. =)

Thanks to Bro. Marlon our LG head! Kay Bro. Troy, Ric, June, Jason, Jo Ma., Louie, Jessie, Christian, at siyempre yun driver namin!!!

Of course, I hope we have a lot of this kind not only outing, maganda outreach na. hehe

Hmmmm Baguio did change a lot. But I’m looking forward to come back here again. =)
